About Tawazon

Tawazon is a pioneering initiative that brings emotional wellbeing into the heart of education and community life.
We nurture emotional intelligence, social skills, and mental balance through culturally grounded programs that support students, educators, and families across the Arab world.
Combining research-based school programs with our award-winning mindfulness app, Tawazon makes emotional support accessible, practical, and relevant to everyday life.

Our approach blends science, human connection, and cultural sensitivity—empowering communities to grow with clarity, confidence, and compassion.

Our Story

Founded in 2022, Tawazon began as a pilot in four schools with one clear vision: to integrate emotional and social learning into the daily lives of students and teachers. What started small quickly grew into a movement — by 2023 the program expanded to 18 schools, and by 2024–2025 it reached 35 schools, becoming a trusted partner in building calmer classrooms, healthier relationships, and more connected school communities.

Tawazon’s impact comes from real classroom work: interactive workshops, experiential activities, games, and practical strategies that support both students and teachers every week. Each program is culturally responsive, age-appropriate, and grounded in evidence-based SEL methods — creating long-term emotional balance, resilience, and wellbeing across the entire school environment.
