  • Partial Shutdown Due to Excessive Sleep

Many people think that sleeping a lot is a good habit, but they are unaware that excessive sleep can be more harmful than lack of sleep. When a person gets used to long hours of sleep, the brain becomes unable to distinguish between waking and sleeping hours, which can affect its ability to handle life situations. Excessive sleep may even lead to strokes. 

  • False Memories

The subconscious mind may implant false memories that have nothing to do with the person’s real past. This happens because the brain tries to fill in its gaps by inserting strange or fabricated memories. The danger lies in the fact that the individual ends up believing these memories as true, and they become part of their personal history. 

  • Feeling Others’ Emotions

The main reason you feel the emotions of someone in front of you is your brain. When someone else is in pain, you may feel like you’re in pain too. This happens because the brain sends signals to the neurons, which then make you feel the same pain. 

  • Thinking About the Future

When you think about your future, the brain may mistakenly believe you’re imagining someone else’s future. This confusion can prevent you from following through with tasks. For instance, when you plan to study for an exam, you might end up watching your favorite movie instead. This occurs because the brain doesn’t associate the future task as directly connected to you.
